Its Just a Little Crush- Jennifer Paige:
Crushes..We all have them! Whether the person knows we exist or not, we make a happily ever after fantasy in our heads, and that’s perfectly sane! Crush’s are fun! They're like a new spark that we’re eager to explore. This song explains this phase perfectly! “It’s just a little crush…it’s not like I faint every time we touch!”
Singing in the Shower- Becky G
I guess we can call this the talking phase? You get really excited when he texts you, and you have a plethora of kissing emoji’s next to his name. This phase is confusing...yet we absolutely love it! It’s okay to have schoolgirl feelings when you’re getting to know someone. They become the reason “you’re dancing in the mirror and singing in the shower
The ONE-Tamar Braxton:
I’ve never been in love. So I’ll refer to this as: “When you’re in Like”. So sometimes bae and I perform a duet to this song. I even change the lyrics! Amira version: “You’re the one I want…to carry my luggage upstairs.” “You’re the one I want…to change my oil!’ hahahaha All jokes aside…I love this song. We love the feeling of having someone, and this song celebrates that feeling!
So What- Field Mob and Ciara:
Our friends know when someone isn't good for us before we do. We see our relationship through blurred, heart-shaped glasses; so it’s difficult to spot warning signs. But as soon as people mention your love not being true, we immediately get defensive! We literally say "So What," and begin to make up excuses for why we WILL make it! My friends constantly told me that the chameleon was bad for me! It just made me want him more. In my head we were the new Bonnie and Clyde
Why Don’t You Love Me-Beyoncé :
Lol as soon as Bae doesn't answer his phone this song comes to my mind. It’s the crazy female in me! I immediately begin to do the Beyonce twitch in this video. “Why don't you love me? Tell me, baby, why don't you love me,When I make me so damn easy to love?” EVERY girl thinks this at some point….it’s so sad. We need to do better!
Kiss Me: Ed Sheeran :
We all slip and fall in those horrible things called feelings every once and while. Honestly…it disgust me in a way. This song will randomly get you in your feelings, and make you want to cuddle! It's your cry for attention.
Irreplaceable- Beyoncé : So this is the song to play right BEFORE you break-up with the scrub. It gives you the confidence to dump him! “You must not know 'bout me. You must not know 'bout me. I can have another you by tomorrow” *and we all scream yasssssss* This song reminds you that you deserve better and that there is someone who will treat you better. So put everything he owns in that box to the left…and move on!
Someone Like You-Adele:
Oh Adele….how you love to remind me of my heartache. This is the song you play when you realize that you miss the scrub…a little bit. The only problem with this song is that you start to think you want him back. FYI: YOU DON’T WAN’T HIM BACK! *snaps in Z formation* Lol "Sometimes it lasts in love but sometimes it hurts instead ". *grabs tissues* We all need a song to cry to after a break-up…even if the person isn’t worth the tears.
You Oughta Know- Alanis Morssette
This feeling sucks. The feeling of someone you once cared about loving someone else sucks! We feel defeated, replaced, and angry! This song releases that anger! Everything that you would EVER want to say to your ex AND their new is wrapped in this 4 minute song! You’re a little angry, a little bitter....let it out! My favorite line is when she questions the promises that he made to her. #yassssssalanisyasssss
I Look So Good Without You- Jessie James:
I LOVE this song! *begins to twirl* You are FINALLY over that guy who treated you like crap, and you realize that you’re better off without him. This song reminds you that EVERYTHING is better without him! “Done… with your lies, Baby now my tears dried” Yes...you are DONE crying. I still play this song when a relationship ends; it reminds me that I’m still a twirling queen! *twirls*
